Join us on Saturday 28th September for a very special Pop-Up Supper on the farm with the ‘National Chef of the Year’, the award-winning Kuba Winkowski.
KUBARͶ is a new project from chef Kuba Winkowski. Kuba has been working in the
Cotswold, at The Feathered Nest Inn, for last 10 years, in that time he gained a
number of accolades and industry recognitions to include place on Sunday Times
UK 100 best restaurant, number 34 in Harden’s 100 best UK restaurants, 3 AA
rosettes, Michelin guide recommendation and title of National Chef of the Year 2019.
Most importantly, in his time working in the Cotswold, Kuba has fallen in love with the
area, made it home for himself, his wife Magda and son Jan. He feels strongly about
the local community by taking part in many charity events, sharing his food
knowledge and passion with students in Gloucestershire College and taking part in
Adopt the School program at his local Bourton-on-the-Water primary school.
Over the years Kuba has established a very strong relationship with farmers and
producers from the Cotswold. Kuba produces award winning charcuterie, cultured
butter, smoked fish, bread and many more all from local products. Along the way
Kuba has developed interest in wood fired and charcoal cooking, as a very basic and
old method of processing food.
KUBARͶ is a concept which brings everything above in one place. Idea is to create
a hub for the best food producers in the Cotswold and adding Kuba’s passion, skill,
experience and knowledge to offer a very special, tasty and unique experience.
Kuba has vision to preserve ancient techniques in the modern cooking, to come back
to the basics, to make things how they used to be, like real bread and butter!
Kuba has been working with us here at Just Kidding for many years, he
is a big supporter of our kid meat and the whole ethos behind our farm. After a
very successful Pop-up Sunday lunch back in March – we decided
to organise yet another event together.
On Saturday the 28th September KUBARͶ will come alive for
the first time. It will be a very relaxed dinner, were you can meet and talk to National
Chef of the Year 2019 Kuba Winkowski and taste amazing Cotswold Kid meat and
dishes, cooked over the fire and served around our shared dining tables.

We will have limited capability to cater for dietary requirements without advance warning, due to the set menu nature of the event, so please let us know about anything relevant prior to booking your tickets.
As with all our Pop-Up Suppers – you will be seated with fellow diners on our sharing tables.
